Many events will take place during next year in Venice and we are glad to propose you a calendar and a short description of the most important events 2008 in Venice. During these periods we invite you to contact us and our reservation staff will propose you our best available rate:


- Christmas Market in Venice 2007 ? From December 2nd to 24th ? In the so fascinating area of Campo Santo Stefano, in the heart of Venice, just a few minutes from St. Mark? Square and the Accademia Museum, will be built some traditional small wooden houses where you can find masks, sweet Venetian typical products, handmade products and much more.
- Venice Carnival 2008 - From January 25th to February 5th - Masks from all over the world, concerts, music in the Campi and in Piazza San Marco, parties in sumptuous Venetian eighteenth century palaces, is only a small part of what awaits you in this exceptional Carnival.
- Palazzo Grassi - ?Rome and the Barbarians? - from the 26th January 2008 to the 20th of September 2008 ? Palazzo Grassi is one of the greatest ?700 building on the Grand Canal. Recently acquired by the famous French business man Francois Pinault. With the intervention of the great architect Tadao Ando , Palazzo Grassi has become an attractive and functional space for exhibitions of worldwide success. - Venice Easter 2008 ? April 23 2008 ? Spring is beginning and Venice offers many attractions in a city not yet crowded by tourists. A romantic walk can be the reason for your visit to Venice.
- Venice Vogalonga 2008 ? May 11 2008 ? Traditional non-competitive event. About 1500 boats and 5000 people will leave at 09.00 a.m. in front of St. Mark? Square along a route of about 30 kilometers through the lagoon, around Burano island, through Murano and through the Gran Canal till St. Mark? Square. You can see. - Redentore Celebration - Venice 2008 ? July 19 and 20 2008 - Like every year the Venetians celebrate the end of the plague that struck the city heavily in 1500. More than 30 minutes of uninterrupted fireworks in a scene of lights and reflections on water, with thousands of boats right in front of Piazza San Marco. On Saturday and Sunday, Venice is connected to the island of Giudecca, where there is the Palladian Church dedicated to the Redeemer, via a floating bridge of about 400 meters prepared for this occasion.
- Film Festival 2008 - Lido di Venezia ? Venezia ? We are waiting for more information
- Regata Storica 2008 ? September 07 2008 ? The most important event of the Venetians! Everybody comes here by boat and assists to the traditional parade of historical boats. After, will take place the regatta: a competition on the Gran Canal with traditional Venetian boats (gondolas, caorlinas, ?mascaretas?etc.) moved by the force of harms. Colours, music and emotions of this expressive event, will remain indelible in your hearts.
- 23rd Venice Marathon 2008 ? October 26 2008 ? Once again Venice Marathon is back with the 23rd edition. From Stra (a small city near Padua) to the historical center of Venice, racers, through the 42,195 km marathon, will cross the Brenta Riviera, the city of Marghera, the center of Mestre, the park of San Giuliano until the suggestive historic centre of Venice through floating bridges.
